Dad visited this place as my dog has a condition called “dry eye syndrome” The vet brought her back for a review appointments within this appointment they discussed 2 different treatment plans, my dad said they would be in contact with me to discuss over the phone/email ( which they haven’t) At the review appointment they have sent my dad away with medication my dad was not told it was two different medications they have prescribed assuming it was just 2 of the same tablets to be taken at different times. It turns out the two are for: (Sedatives) 1. For seeing a specialist 2. For seeing them (Only to be taken once we have decided what treatment plan to go for) Discussed with the receptionist my concerns as they have charged me for two medications despite not knowing which route I would like to take OR even if I would like to stay with them, it really makes no sense as one won’t be used & it’s a waste of medication & money. Very concerning as we put our trust in these people & they really are just doing it all for the £££ it seems. Wrong on so many levels - I advise some training regarding this. The ideal scenario would have been to discuss options & then prescribe accordingly to what treatment plan I would like to take but NO. After discussing with the receptionist for a reimbursement of one of the medications I was told “well your dad decided to take it so no” My dad was misinformed so they could make a quick buck. This review is not about the money I have lost- it’s the lack of care of the pet/owners when people are vulnerable&will do anything/spend anything on their pets/lack of information given to owners. It’s quite disgusting really as someone in a medical field this would never happen with patients. Very very sneaky. I would advise checking everything all the treatment plans / the vets notes / all information should be sent via email before any pet owners decided to take / pay for medication that won’t be used or have treatment. Or seek a second opinion. I really do not recommend Nathan or his team at all. I definitely will no be returning to this vets ever again.

If I could put zero stars I would Spayed my dog which resulting in a strangulating hernia because the abdominal wall was not closed correctly/properly during surgery Tried to pin my dogs head to the table to try and administer the dog flu spray until I told him to stop Informed me my dog had a heart murmur on one side of its heart which is impossible unless a dogs heart is different to a human heart Overall poor care, lack of emotion for animals and lack of knowledge - pretty sure they don't know what they're doing or just simply don't care as long as they're making money from a condition. If that's to the detriment of your pet so be it

The team here are fantastic. From the first appointment to the end of life care, they treated us with respect and dignity. They talked us through the various options we had available for our very poorly cat, Molly. Sending us a lovely card the following week was a beautiful gesture. Thank you VfP Altrincham

Excellent service great staff. The vets are amazing really professional and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonably better than some private ones.

Main complaint is the opaque pricing schemes for various treatments. They aren't posted anywhere online, or in person. You have to ask about everything, and they offer tempting subscriptions without saying what the prices are of the individual things inside of the subscription. I did manage to get them to write down most of their unlisted prices though, th y said they're estimates. I have a different vet's costs next to them, because that's the only way I could find what the common procedures were. The vet was super friendly though, and my cats liked him.
