I took my one year old cat Maggie for her yearly booster vaccination. The waiting room was clean and airy. My appointment was on time and the vet was really nice. It was a pleasant experience. I pay monthly into a plan and it covers all her flee and worming treatments also her yearly booster, well woth doing.

Been with Littlecroft for years and they have been fantastic with all of our animals over the years. Particularly when our cat of 18 years died recently. The compassion shown and extra efforts made, including the vet working over his finishing time, was just brilliant. I would 100% recommend Littlecroft and wouldn’t consider anywhere else for our pets.

Brought my two dogs for vaccinations. As always Sean was brilliant with them. My 14 year old Collie Alfie is very nervous but Sean always puts him at ease and keeps him calm. He did Alfie's kennel cough vaccine without Alf getting stressed. Our young Goldendoodle Daisy enjoyed the fuss he made of her and didn't even notice the needle going in and took the kennel cough nose squirt like a champ. She's booked in to be spayed next week with Sean and I know she will be in safe hands. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. The receptionists are lovely - big mention to Claire who's been there forever and is brilliant.

Absolutely Heartbreaking Experience – I Wish I Had Gone Elsewhere I brought my older cat to this vet when she became suddenly unwell. My whole family was preparing for the worst, fearing we might lose her. The vet we saw—an older man—dismissed our concerns and told us she was “just ill” and to come back only if it continued. We trusted him and left £110 lighter but reassured. Her condition quickly worsened. When we rushed her back, another vet examined her and immediately felt cancer throughout her abdomen—something that, we were told, had been there “for ages” and was “obvious to feel.” We were devastated. I opted for a pain-relief injection so she could go home and say goodbye to her family before returning the next day to put her to sleep. The final visit was somehow even more traumatic. We were once again seen by the same man who misdiagnosed her. He began the appointment asking if she’d eaten yet, as though she was still just “ill.” I had to remind him she had terminal cancer and was being put to sleep. During the procedure, he only injected her halfway, then remarked “oh she went quick, didn’t she” before administering the rest. He then dropped her body while trying to wrap her up. While still processing this, we went to reception with our white envelope with her paw print, only to stand and wait while the receptionist laughed and chatted casually with someone about food—fully aware we were there for a euthanasia. I had to walk out. It was insulting and deeply upsetting. The whole experience was cold, careless, and completely lacking in compassion or professionalism. I’m young, and I truly believe I wasn’t taken seriously because of that. In total, I spent around £500 here. I would give anything to go back and take her to a place that genuinely cares. If you love your animal, please think twice before coming here.

Have used this Vets for over 30 years. Staff from vets to receptionists are truly wonderful. They’ve looked after all my cats and dogs with professionalism and compassion.
