Staff very friendly, vets very thorough, I usually see Sophie who is very gentle, explains everything for the visit and future possibilities. Polly who is 19 yrs old cat, isn't nervous,she's very relaxed with Sophie, likes to checkout the surgery window sill and just sits there , she had her vaccination and she never flinch. Very pleased with the service

Charged nearly £500 and my dog came out worse than ever. I brought my dog here with a minor skin issue — 4 weeks later, after following their treatment exactly, she’s lost almost all the hair on her back. The vet barely examined her, did no proper skin tests, and the medication only made her condition dramatically worse. I asked for a free recheck given the huge cost and her deterioration, but was refused and told to “send an email” that could take 10 days. While they delay, my dog suffers. I’ve since moved her to another clinic — I would never trust this place again. You can clearly see from the photos that LouLou began with a mild skin issue, one of these photos was taken INSIDE the vets on 17th July 2025. Since seeing the vets, her condition has deteriorated beyond recognition.

Always so happy with the service provided for my dogs, Buddy & Bear at Tameside Vets, Hyde. The staff are so friendly and the vets always treat my boys with such love and care at their appointments, which is lovely as they can be quite nervous boys. One of my dogs was previously diagnosed with luxating patella at a different vets, where I felt I wasn’t informed in much detail about the condition and came away feeling quite anxious. I moved to Tameside Vets Hyde and they explained to me really clearly and gave me lots of advice which put me at ease, including hydrotherapy which my dog is now starting. My other pooch has suffered with eye ulcers a couple times this year and really happy with the treatment given and aftercare advice. Thank you so much, highly recommend! 5*

I recently registered my two chihuahuas with Tameside Vets and brought them to the Hyde clinic for their vaccinations yesterday. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My girls were spoiled with attention at reception and loved every second of it! You can truly see how much the team cares about animals through their kindness and compassion. Thank you for the outstanding care!

The staff were absolutely brilliant in helping me with the passing of my cat. They ensured I had everything I needed and no request was too much. Genuinely lovely people who not only care so amazingly for the animals but their owners too. Thank you for making this difficult time a little easier. 🐾
