Since David opened the practice many moons ago, i have been a regular customer of Ark however on a recent visit I found the service below there usual standards. I was expecting to see David, as that is who i had booked with on their 1st vaccine, however I was seen by a veterinary nurse with our puppies as part of the puppy pack, vaccination and microchipping was very stressful for puppies and us as owners. I had never had a dog micro chipped before and was not given any after care advice, until i asked and felt rushed and overlooked. I think the worse part was that my details on the micrchipping registration are incorrect, considering they have my details in there system! had I have not checked the details this could of created a very upsetting future problem.

I moved to this vets around 8 weeks ago after being unsatisfied with my own vets where I live. Unfortunately both my very elderly cat and very elderly dog became ill quickly and had to be put to sleep within a few weeks, i cannot fault how professional, kind, caring and wonderful the vets, veterinary assistants and receptionist are at this practice!! Every single person treated my dog and cat with the utmost kindness and respect, talking me through every single part of the process and never rushing me to say goodbye!!! Thank you for everything xxxxxx

We couldn’t recommend Ark Vets more highly. From the moment you walk in, you’re met with kindness, professionalism, and a genuine sense of care that goes above and beyond. The whole team is outstanding, but we especially want to thank Dr. David and Dr. Beth for the incredible dedication they’ve shown to our dogs over the years. They always take the time to listen, explain, and guide us with warmth and clarity — no question is ever too small, and you never feel rushed. Their knowledge and clinical skill are second to none, and we’ve always felt completely confident and safe in their hands. Nurse Katie also deserves a special mention — she is one of the kindest, most compassionate people we’ve met. Her gentleness, reassurance, and care have made such a difference, especially during some of the most difficult times with our pets. You can tell how much she truly loves the animals, and that brings so much comfort. Ark Vets supported us all the way through one of our boxer’s chemotherapy — always there when we needed advice or urgent appointments. When he sadly passed, they contacted us personally to offer support, which meant the world to us. On another occasion, they stayed late after hours to perform an emergency surgery, so we didn’t have to travel to an unfamiliar out-of-hours clinic. That kind of dedication is rare. What sets Ark Vets apart is not just their clinical excellence, but their heart. They are skilled, trustworthy, and compassionate. We have complete faith in them, and we wouldn’t take our dogs anywhere else. Thank you, Ark Vets, for everything you do — we’re so grateful.
