Disappointed with the inconsistency of customer care. Lymm Vets are excellent but experience at Oakwood fell short of expectations. £220 consultancy fee just to be told my dog needed an MRI from an impatient consultant - who let me know he was very busy! I had already paid the Willows group over £400 in consultations and Xrays (at Lymm) for this conclusion. The phrase 'money for old rope' springs to mind. The fact that insurance covered me is irrelevant and the group would do well to remember that even when it comes to veterinary care, we have a choice.

TERRIBLE VET GROUP! INSENSITIVE, COLD HEARTED. NO WONDER PRACTICE STAFF ARE THE WAY THEY ARE WHEN AT THE TOP ITS EVEN WORSE. DO NOT USE THIS VETS OR ANY WILLOWS GROUP VET PRACTICE, IF YOU USE THEM ITS AT YOUR PETS RISK!! This vet practice and it’s group are a disgrace. They are REFUSING vet mediation for their DISGUSTING behaviour and their FAILURES of treatment, resulting in 3 year old Shar Pei’s traumatic death. Their so called SHAR PEI EXPERT SEAN CLEARY conveniently “retired” who’s lack of care and treatment towards Daisy resulted in her premature death. The ENTIRE situation of dealing with this vet practice from initial phone calls when Daisy had collapsed in September to get her an appointment to be checked to her treatment and ultimately her death in November, and to as recent as January when they rang for a bill that wasn’t needed to be paid is ATROCIOUS. They FAILED to treat weeks prior to her death and were NO help when she collapsed and died. THE reception staff are insensitive, cold hearted and have NO compassion. The VET clearly wasn’t as GOOD as made out, NO MENTION of his retirement on social media or the website - NOTHING. Which makes me question WHY? The way Daisy died was traumatic for all involved and the willows group fail to offer some simple answers. THEY KNOW ALL THE SENSITIVE DETAILS OF THIS CASE WHICH MAKES THEM EVEN MORE HEARTLESS. The business development director of the group is insensitive, and REFUSING to issue her MEDICAL RECORDS and WILL NOT co operate via vet mediation. HE has IGNORED the most recent letter sent. Something isn’t right with this vet group and this practice. THE TREATING VET, THE PRACTICE STAFF AND THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED. VETS CAN GET AWAY WITH THIS BEHAVIOUR BECAUSE THEY CAN REFUSE TO DEAL WITH COMPLAINTS- ALL THEY WANT TO DO IS MAKE MONEY, EVEN OFF ANIMALS WHO HAVE SINCE PASSED AWAY.
