Good vets beware of getting into pet plans and financial difficulties. They will REFUSE to help you resolve payment. After offering what I am able afford to repay less than. 100 pound. They have forced me to pay more than I'm able too meaning I am struggling, I understand they need repayment, however when this is offered and circumstances explained, they don't care. To add.. no major care was done. 1 set of vaccines was received.

If I could give zero stars, I would! After a consultation with a nurse (long dark hair with glasses) at County Vets in Sandbach - I was assured that my cats were healthy. The nurse repeatedly pushed for neutering, citing health benefits, but failed to mention any potential side effects. She weighed my cats, listened to their heartbeats, and told me everything was “perfect.” Shockingly, she missed a heart murmur in one of my cats and failed to note that they were underweight. I have been with County Vets in Sandbach for a year now and have only had routine check-ups. Even then, I was told everything was fine. Only after the operation did they mention that my cat had lost weight. Why didn’t the nurse tell me this during the consultations? The nightmare began after the operation. My cats were admitted at 8:45 AM, had the procedure around 12 PM, and were released to me at 5 PM. I wasn’t even shown my cats after surgery, just told they were in their crates and fine. But when I got them home—only two minutes away—I was horrified. They had blood dripping from their neuter sites and were clearly in distress. I rushed them back to the practice, only to find there were no vets present, just nurses who seemed completely lost and unsure of what to do. Fortunately, if it wasn’t for the vet at Kidsgrove that night, my cats would have bled to death. One of the nurses there worked tremendously hard to try to save my cats’ lives, administering adrenaline and applying pressure to the post-op site. However, it’s unacceptable that my cats were put in such a precarious situation in the first place. The vet who operated on my cats was a locum who left the practice immediately after the surgery, leaving them without proper post-op monitoring. When we arrived at Kidsgrove, my cats were at serious risk of death due to the negligence and lack of care they received from County Vets. God knows what went wrong during the operation, but my cat looked like it had been butchered. It’s been a horrendous few days, and County Vets seems completely indifferent to the welfare of my two cats. I am absolutely disgusted that the staff and practice manager haven’t even responded to me, and they have shown no care or concern for the situation. Not only have they not emailed or called me back, but they haven’t even sympathised with me regarding my poor cats; they have been dismissive. I’ve emailed them multiple times, yet I’ve received no acknowledgment. The nurse who initially advised me has been avoidant and rude when I’ve tried to address my concerns. I have consulted with other vets, and every single one has said they cannot believe what County Vets has done to my cats when neutering should have been such a simple process. I believe the practice should offer my cats a heart scan and blood tests due to their wrongdoing and negligence, especially since my previously healthy cat now has a heart murmur likely caused by the stress from this ordeal. Having said this, even if they offer me a free blood test and scan, I don’t trust County Vets to take appropriate care of my cats! Today, I have been told that the cats should have had a blood test before the operation, but the vet who did the procedure said it wasn’t essential and crossed this out on the form. Do not get your cats neutered here or have any surgery! Stay away if you care about your pets. This practice has shown a complete lack of care, professionalism, and accountability. Please be advised that the photos are after they have been cleaned; the post-op pictures are too graphic and disturbing.

We can’t thank Apryl enough for her knowledge and expertise when it came to our dog Ruby. Unfortunately we don’t expect her to be with us for much longer but it was down to Apryl that we got referred to such a great veterinary hospital who could help us further. Thank you

The vets came highly recommended to me by a friend. We have a new dachshund puppy, and we haven't registered it. From the receptionist to the Vets and nurses, we have had a lovely welcome.
