My tortoise had a long beak so making it difficult to eat by himself. I had to feed him by hand, I took him to this vet. The people are very friendly, the lady vet clipped his beak and I am happy to say he is eating really well. One happy tortoise and one happy owner. Thank you so much, this vet is highly recommended by me.

Excellent vets, knowledgable staff. Friendly atmosphere. They have been wonderful with my epileptic dog, plus my other dogs. I would not go anywhere else. I love being able to see the same vet every time. Unlike some veterinary surgeries that have a high turnover of vets, Tameside always have the familiar faces that you need. Very highly recommended.

Tameside vets, Stalybridge is a lovely place to take your furbabies- the staff are friendly, the environment is clean and the vets I’ve seen there over the years seem genuinely concerned about your pet’s welfare - I’ve never felt rushed and I’ve not had to wait long once I’ve arrived. Price wise it’s reasonable. I always feel confident that my cat will get good treatment, which definitely helps reduce the anxiety and stress you feel when your pet is ill.

Took my beautiful Minnie in for treatment this week but unfortunately nothing could be done for her. She sadly passed away. Staff at both the Stalybridge and Hyde branches were fantastic and did their very best to make both Minnie and myself comfortable . My thanks and appreciation to all at both branches. A very caring and compassionate service.

I had a very positive experience at Tameside Veterinary Clinic in Stalybridge today, and I wanted to share my gratitude. I went there to register my cat and ask for an appointment as soon as possible, but due to work commitments during the week, I was limited in my options. Terri at reception was incredibly helpful; she went above and beyond to arrange a consultation for my cat later that same day, towards the end of their working hours. She also kindly advised me on how to request my cat’s medical history from the previous vet and took care of the registration immediately. Chloe, the nurse, was so kind and reassuring, which really helped ease my nerves. And Becca, the vet, was absolutely wonderful—friendly, caring, and thorough. She took the time to answer all my questions, not just those related to the appointment, and explained all the options clearly. Despite the late hour, I didn’t feel rushed at all and appreciated how welcoming and patient everyone was. Overall, the team at Tameside Veterinary Clinic made what could have been a stressful situation much easier. Pets can’t tell us where it hurts, and they can get stressed, but thanks to this amazing team, everything went smoothly. I genuinely can’t thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism. Highly recommend!
