I appreciate the care and professionalism at this practice and the attention given to the animals. However, I’ve sometimes felt that the way information is presented can come across as a little condescending, and often focused on worst-case scenarios. This can feel overwhelming and anxiety-inducing, especially when trying to make the best decision for a pet. I also feel there could be more consideration for tailoring advice to each client and their individual circumstances, rather than defaulting to what sometimes feels like a “one-size-fits-all” or “most expensive” approach. It would be really helpful if vets asked more questions about what would work best for the client and their current situation. A “what can we do to help you help your pet?” approach would feel much more supportive, focusing on the carer’s perspective as well as the pet’s needs. Overall, I’m grateful for the care provided, but I believe the client experience could be improved with a more compassionate and collaborative communication style

I’ve had a bad experience with a few vets but Woodcroft have given me the confidence back to trust them with my hairy family members. Molly has a good experience when she goes in from meeting the reception team to being checked by the vet. Thank you

Regular reminders regarding appointments and treatments are extremely helpful. My dog is nervous but the vets are very accommodating. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely calm atmosphere and kind receptionist and vet -my cat was very calm and didn’t seem at all stressed which was a surprise as she has been adopted by me and she hasn’t experienced veterinary treatment for many years -she is normally very anxious and aggressive about interactions such as brushing her or even stroking her the wrong way if she is not in the mood -I felt that she came away from the visit knowing she was being helped

Recently I had to take my dog to the vets , I have 2 dogs and haven’t been to vets for a while , sadly my dog who I took to the vets , due to age didn’t see past that day . But the staff on the day , nurse , vet went above and beyond that day . And recently received a card from the vets and the nurse took paw prints nose print and little fur in a jar . But the staff have been lovely, especially since never been in this position before . I took the other dog to the vets for a check up and again so understanding and caring .
