The practice were fantastic and without a doubt saved the life of my son and his girlfriend’s dog. Their professional response to his emergency treatment was faultless and we cannot thank them enough.

The best around. Our dog was rushed in for a medical emergency recently and the care, professionalism and service they provided, truly was lifesaving. Our dog only survived due to their appropriate quick action and dedication to their clients. Their support post surgery has been nothing but exceptional. To the whole to team, we are very grateful!

The only reason there is a one star is because previously I have had good interactions with friendly staff. Today upon reading the other 1 * reviews which have given a poor review, I was extremely unsurprised at the replies given in response, by the " manager/ - owner" of this branch. It seems like quite poor customer service and a lack of empathy, which is what I experienced yesterday is not a one off. With it being the closest branch to Macclesfield, it has been the easiest option to use it as a vets practise over the previous 4 years. Although some reception staff seem to be exceptional, unfortunately the service is not consistent. It is not what I experienced yesterday.my mother and I have paid into the pet plan for the past 4 years without any issues. Unfortunately one has passed and one is undergoing radiotherapy. When I explain to the receptionist in person, after recieving a message to say it was time to administer the treatment, She advised me I have to order it over the phone. I continued that because I have to care for my mother who has seizures 24/7 and it's difficult for me to make the 45-minute journey. Would it be possible as a one-off to have the medication which they had in stock? If I had realised I would have ordered it first. They advised me that they had a medical emergency, which I understood. But I also on this occasion and under stressful circumstances I asked if, as a one-off, I could have the medication signed off. I even said I could stay around for the next hour as I had a neighbour staying. The reluctant attitude of the receptionist did go and ask the store manager after I appealed, weather it would be possible under the circumstances to sign off the flea and worm treatment. When the manager came out I explained that my mother was undergoing radiotherapy and I needed help to get the flea and wormer as it is almost impossible to make the trip down and I had misunderstood that you had to pre-order. Probably from all the stress I have been under. I understand they don't have to do this. I also understand they had a medical emergency in the back which they explained to me several times. Between the receptionists, the veterinarians, the veterinary nurses and the support staff, I was surprised that somebody couldn't take a moment within a 2-hour period to sign them off. I also asked at the time, if it was possible to buy them separately, which apparently you cannot. They can only be vet supplied and not bought in store. Upon explaining my mum's condition and explaining she was going through radiotherapy and I was extremely tired and just really needed some help. The store manager replied. I have been through that too and just stared at me. I felt very belittled and also very upset. As I walked away I heard them laughing. I was by myself and I had three people, two receptionists and one manager being very unreasonable. I felt very intimidated as a customer. Absolutely disgusted! Also, now we are running late on the flea and worming, surely empathy for the pet if not for the human

We recently had to put down our wonderful Miniature Schnauzer, Rupert. Nicole (vet) was so lovely, patient and compassionate given that we were extremely upset. She gave us the time we needed and was so caring towards him and explained everything clearly to us. She has also been dealing with our other senior dog in the same caring way. I would also like to mention the staff on the desk - Suze and Lauren (others too but I'm not sure of names) who are a pleasure to deal with and were very sympathetic toward us after losing a big part of the family.

We've been so happy with the service from everyone at Vets4Pets Handforth. Everyone has been really nice with our dog Woody. They also have a Whatsapp that you can use to stay updated which is a massive help. Grace in particular has been really nice and understanding with our dog and putting us at ease with his neutering. 10/10!!

Please stay away from this place unless you want to experience awful service! We are extremely unhappy with the service at this veterinary clinic. We signed up for a health plan for our dog, which includes two free consultations each year, but we were not informed about the details of these consultations. During the second consultation, the vet reminded us to come back for a follow-up but did not mention that the follow-up would incur an extra charge. After the follow-up, we were asked to pay, which we found very frustrating. What we are unhappy about is that the staff should have informed us of any extra charges before the consultation, not after it. When we complained about this service, the manager’s attitude was awful. Their response was simply, “Unfortunately, it’s not our responsibility. If you’re not happy, don’t come here again .” This kind of attitude is completely unacceptable! The attitude of the lady in the picture was particularly rude. She told us outright, If you're not satisfied, you can leave. I believe this is not how customers should be treated. Additionally, their medicine is more expensive than at regular pharmacies. For example, the product in my photo is priced at £23.1 here (I've attached proof), whereas online pharmacies sell it for just over £10. This is not a prescription medicine—prescription medicines here are even more overpriced! If you're looking for higher prices and worse service, feel free to come here.
