Really impressed by Heath Equine Vets. I was looking for a local practice to vaccinate my horses and noticed they did zone day visits aswell which was a bonus. Niamh was amazing with the horses and really took her time. I didn’t feel rushed at all and she took at lot of interest in the horses and made it a lovely experience for us all. Really impressed and will definitely be using again. Thanks Niamh and the team :)

Heath Equine are fantastic especially Geri who just goes above and beyond. She has been there for us through the highs and lows of horse ownership. The whole team at Heath are just brilliant, friendly and offer such a personalised service. My daughter Emily has also done work experience with them and loved the team. This practice is outstanding. I’ve been working with Kathy and Helena for a couple of months now, and I can’t praise them enough. Their communication between visits is exceptional—responsive, clear, and supportive. On the day of each visit, the service is always friendly and reassuring. What sets Kathy apart is that she truly listens. She’s created a practical, tailored plan for my horse that balances what’s best for her with what’s affordable for me. Their professionalism and depth of knowledge are second to none, and it’s genuinely a pleasure to see them each time—they bring such positive energy. My mare even seems to enjoy their visits! As someone without my own transport, having access to a fully mobile practice has been an absolute godsend. I honestly can’t recommend this team highly enough.

An excellent, bespoke service from Heath Equine. I was delighted to be offered acupuncture for my horse who is a head shaker. He responds immediately to the treatment, which is primarily to relive his symptoms. I would highly recommend this service.

This vet practice is fantastic, Gemma is so thorough and helpful! Always at the end of a Whatapp with one of my many questions!! Our first vet told us our pony was being naughty and there was nothing wrong with him, my gut feeling was something wasn’t right. Our wonderful physio Karris at Ark physio recommended Gemma at Heath! We are so glad she did! Gemma has been excellent and got to the bottom of why our pony was struggling so much, I wouldn’t ever use any other vet!

Team Heath have always been amazing with my two boys - once arriving in 30 minutes of calling for a colic scare, and just about everyone has seen Bentley for his skin woes. Merete worked so hard to help keep Monty in ridden work, and has such good knowledge about all aspects of her work. A special mention to Gemma who always keeps in close touch with me about Bentley's issues, and is always kind and supportive - I'm so lucky to have a vet like her! (But of course, you're all amazing!) I would highly recommend Heath!

Amazing vets! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Always on the end of the phone. I’ve used the practise for routine vaccinations, Cushings tests, pony injuries, to name a few. Always on call at all times for our Shetland pony stud / foaling, which is invaluable for us and gives us piece of mind. All vets extremely knowledgeable, friendly they show compassion and will work with you and listen. Would highly recommend I’ve always been very very pleased and couldn’t have done with out them Thank you 🤩

Can not recommend Heath Equine Vets enough. For all the horses we have getting themselves into all kinds of mischief on a regular basis ! they have been with us through thick and thin, they really do go the extra mile to care for them and also offer such a personalised service and care not only for the horses but their owners too. We have had some very traumatic times over the years with poorly horses and horses coming to their end of their life and I can’t thank them enough ( especially Merete for being there through it all to guide support, advise and a shoulder to cry on when needed. ) also amazing advice when looking at bringing new horses into our family.
