We really couldn’t recommend Page & Gunstone vets enough. Nadine has been an incredible support to us at the yard — always so kind, calm, and caring, no matter what’s going on. She takes the time to really know each horse and owner personally, which makes such a difference. No matter the time, day or night, she’s been there when we’ve needed her most, and the whole team have gone above and beyond for us more times than we can count. We have worked with Nadine mostly, and her knowledge, professionalism, and genuine compassion give such peace of mind, especially in the tough moments. We wouldn’t trust anyone else now, and many of our yard have moved to Page & Gunstone too — none of us have ever looked back. Page and Gunstone have been our vets since 2022 and I have nothing but praise for the care and attention our 4 horses have received from them. When you own elderly horses you can expect some problems but we had a crisis in 2023 when my 30 year old thoroughbred developed a tooth abscess, which led to his lower jawbone becoming infected too. The care he received from both Nadine and Rupert was first class and against all odds, led to his full recovery. I have no reservations in giving the practice a 5 star rating. Thank you so much Nadine and Rupert and team. You are the best!

Nothing short of fantastic. They are the best Vet’s in the area. You won’t find better stud vets or problem solvers. Nadine, Rupert and Claire are all so invested in the health and welfare of the horses. Nadine in particular is nothing short of incredible, the knowledge and the ability she has is second to none. I trust her implicitly and she is an integral part of our yard and is a valued member of our team. I have known Nadine since she first Qualified and she is outstanding. Knowing we have support and advice 24/7 is a great help. Nadine has rescued us at all hours of the day and night and always does so with a calm and composed nature. She is kind, supportive and her willingness to get to the bottom of issues is something nothing short of dedicated. My horse had a “rattle” whilst being worked. Nadine was great in developing the investigation plans to identify the exact issue and find the best solution for its remedy. She not only managed the investigations in a cost effective way, avoiding doing work that she believes wouldn’t be beneficial. My horse was refereed to Leahurst where she managed the further investigations and planned treatment. She was in regular contact with Leahurst and kept me up to date at all times. Post treatment Nadine was in constant contact to ensure the horse was recovering as planned. You really wouldn’t want for better - she’s calm, considered, decisive and caring - one of the few people I would trust with my horse!

I cant recommend Page and Gunstone equine vets enough! After spending a week with Nadine doing Work Experience in the summer and seeing all of the amazing work that they do we decided to put my mare in foal. Nadine has been with us every step of the way so far from working in a way that was best for us, helping us choose the right stallion and including us in the whole process. Not only were they all welcoming but answered all questions and treated my mare amazingly!(I don’t think she wanted to come home!)

In 2017 my old horse had laminitis. I was so fortunate to have found Page and Gunstone Equine Vets. From the first visit Nadine and Rupert gave Robin 1st class care. After hard work from themselves and my farrier I was given the gift of 7 more years with Robin. They put me at ease from day one, giving me the help and support I needed. Unfortunately Robin lost the fight in March last year. Nadine was amazing, she gave him care and dignity even after his last breath. Fast forward to September when my young horse I have decided to injure himself on a hedge. After x-rays we decided the best course of action was to get checked out at Liverpool. The best decision to make sure he had not injured the joint. I had Nadine out last week to check the youngster’s teeth. She was so calm with him (he is not the easiest). I would not change from Page and Gunstone, I couldn’t ask for anymore than the 1st class care they have given me and my boys and for that I am and will always be forever grateful.
