Our experience has been absolutely fantastic, from the first phone call following our referral, Laura was absolutely beyond compassionate, helpful, kind, proactive and really went above and beyond to help us out and make things easier. The practice itself is lovely and everyone was so kind, really professional and the whole experience was really efficient. Our appointment with Eandil was incredible, he is so knowledgable and patient, really great at helping us navigate through really challenging and upsetting circumstances, really pragmatic and provided all the information we needed in such a calm and informative way it’s much easier to feel confident in making informed decisions. He was so kind and gentle with our dog and for that we’re so incredibly grateful, he answered all our questions and we felt able to just trust in him completely. Thanks to all the wonderful staff, what was an incredibly difficult and upsetting time for our dog and ourselves has been made that bit easier, would highly recommend.
I cannot recommend or praise movement referrals enough. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Mark is an absolute superstar and treated Presley like one of his own. I really cannot put into words how wonderful you all are. Reception team your wonderful.
WARNING ‼️ WARNING ‼️
I want to share my experience and WARN pet owners of the potential risk..
My pet sharpei received Dogstem injections in both elbows on 29th October at Movement referrals based on their advice.
Days after noticed swollen lymph nodes.
He was diagnosed with an aggressive B cell lymphoma and despite all our best efforts and such a brave fight Rocky had to be euthanized.

I feel extremely let down by Movement referrals and my own personal beliefs are such that if my dog had not received treatment at Movement Referrals he would be alive today.
Rocky did not deserve to have his life cut short and die in such a cruel harrowing way.
This is currently under review with the Royal Colllege of Veterinary Surgeons.
I’ve included pictures of Rocky before and after treatment.

INACURACIES AND FALSE ASSUMPTIONS YOU STATE in your response. How dare you write such nonsense in an attempt to mask over the truth.
Based on what exactly ..YOU HAVE NO SCIENTIFIC PROOF TO BACK UP YOUR STATEMENT.
The fact of the matter remains A FIT AND HEALTHY DOG HAD THE ONESET OF THE DISEASE 48HRS AFTER RECEIVING TREATMENT AT MOVEMENT REFERRALS WHICH RESULTED IN THE PAINFUL DEATH OF ROCKY.
More over the specialist that treated Rocky acknowledged it was entirely possible the treatment could have caused the onset of Lymphoma
Our experience with Movement Referrals was exceptional from start to finish.
We brought our 1-year-old German Shepherd Dog to see Prof. John Innes for an assessment of imaging that had been taken the previous week.
From the outset, Prof. Innes was clearly extremely knowledgeable and highly experienced. He took the time to explain the imaging results in great detail, breaking everything down in a way that was easy to understand. His calm, reassuring manner immediately put us at ease during what could have been a very stressful situation.
We were not only impressed by his expertise, but also by his ability to communicate complex information so clearly and compassionately. It was evident that he genuinely cared about our dog’s wellbeing and about ensuring we felt confident and informed about the next steps.
Beyond the consultation itself, the entire experience at Movement Referrals was outstanding. From the warm and welcoming reception team when we arrived, to the professional and efficient care throughout our visit, everything was handled seamlessly. We left feeling reassured, supported, and incredibly grateful for the high standard of care provided.
We would not hesitate to recommend Movement Referrals and Prof. John Innes to anyone seeking specialist veterinary expertise.
LIFE SAVERS — Cannot recommend highly enough!
I came home from work to find my 4 year old Frenchie, Pablo, completely paralysed in his hind legs.
After a horrible experience at the emergency vets, we were advised we may have to make some difficult decisions.
Fast forward to our local vet referring us to Movement Referrals. Everything changed for the better! I cannot put into words how knowledgeable, compassionate, and helpful they were.
They were open and honest with us about our treatment options, and we decided to go ahead with surgery. Throughout the whole process, Movement were nothing short of amazing!
Pablo is my first ever dog and, understandably, this was a really difficult period. The amount of time and effort Movement put into to answering our questions and comforting us made a world of difference. Whenever we needed anything, there were just phone call away, and this massively helped during Pablos recovery. Each member of staff I spoke to explained everything with such care and compassion.
Looking back on the last few months, we could have not gotten through Pablo’s injury without the outstanding support from all the team at movement. Thankfully, he’s on the mends and continues to make improvements.
We just wanted to say a special thank you to Ben and Beth, who both went the extra mile in listening and explaining all of our questions. Also a massive thank you to all the team who looked after Pablo while he stayed overnight.
Words don’t do justice to how thankful we are. I would recommend Movement Referrals to anyone in a heartbeat. The work they do is so important and the care they provide is second to none.

Thank you wonderful team for looking after our Milo ,10 year old Frenchie. Mark and John thank you for support and ensuring speedy surgery and nurses for a safe recovery. We really appreciate you all expecally during busy period and surgery on Christmas Eve and couldn’t be more greatful that he’s home just in time for Christmas.
Outstanding clinical skills and customer service . Recommended without hesitation.
We were referred to movement after our dog Sullys back legs became weak and unsteady. We were worried about leaving him as he becomes very nervous in the vet and his breathing was also deteriorating so we didn’t want him too stressed out. We muzzled Sully and Beth immediately got stuck in with him! He was sent for a CT scan and MRI scan that same day. We weren’t local to the area so we stayed in Runcorn waiting for him. Beth kept us updated and even let us through the back to help with his IV when he got tangled up - (not because they couldn’t manage but because it was better for Sully this way to prevent him getting too stressed, especially when his breathing was quite bad!) we really appreciated them letting us help and keeping us updated throughout. Beth and the nurses who took care of Sully that day were so lovely and really helped put us at ease. Sully was referred to a different firm as he needed further investigations but Beth kept in touch providing us with his blood results and checked in on Sully. It makes such a difference when you deal with someone so kind and understanding. Thanks to everyone at movement!
