Fantastic vets, really trust them looking after our 3 Ragdoll cats. They are very cat friendly, explain everything well and throughly with no rush. Building is great, parking and friendly staff. We have recently switched to them and wish we had years ago. The special cat waiting area is such a good idea. Highly recommend.

Acorn Vets have consistently shown real compassion and professionalism every time I have visited. The staff, both front of house and the veterinary team, have been empathetic and genuinely caring during some difficult moments. The practice is immaculate, well organised and has parking which makes life a bit easier when you are already stressed. What sets them apart is that they do not rush to tick boxes or push you through. They focus on solving the issue for the animal while also recognising that there is a worried human standing there too. They strike that balance perfectly. A great team and a practice that really feels like it cares.

A friendly and compassionate place who totally understand what it’s like to have cats as a part of your family. The cat friendly corner makes the waiting less stressful for me and my pets. They always go the extra mile and give sound advice at each visit. I have taken my pets there for many years 😊

Brilliant service as always. Nice staff. Matthew Edwards goes above and beyond. Such a lovely vet and compassionate too.

Have been with Acorn for more than 30 years. Whilst the vet we saw, Mel, was very kind and considerate to an elderly dog, she had to advise the various treatment costs which to an OAP is now getting very expensive. Unfortunately big business does not seem to care about the treatments without charge higher rates than elsewhere. They should consider. No clients no income.

It’s taken several weeks to be able to post a review as we sadly lost Lexie so unexpectedly. With just 22 days from kidney disease stage 4 until we lost her. She was just 7 and the most beautiful and incredible family member who brightened everyone’s day, to say we’re heartbroken is simply not enough. The full team at Acorn in West Kirby for the past 7 years have been incredible in every single way, from the welcome at reception to meeting the vet and the detail and care they gave us and Lexie. In recent times Matt Edwards, became our go to vet. He gave us so much details on Lexies condition which shocked us all, including him. His way, approach and gentle conversation was so soothing in the most difficult of times. His guidance, experience and overall genuine love for Lexie was overwhelming and gave us so much peace when the time came to say our final goodnight to our little princess. Matt kept us across all details calling us whenever he had an update, something we all appreciated. He is an angel that you can see and feel loves our family pets, he has a connection with them. Acorn are blessed to have him, all the vets and the team behind the counter. Thank you all for making Lexies 7 years a fun, happy, healthy and carefree one. Graham Lysaght ❤️ x
