Been taking my dog Griff here since he was 8 weeks old. Service and advice always good. Sadly last week I had to take him for the last time as at 14 years old age had caught up with him. Thank you to vet Hayley who was so caring and compassionate to myself and Griff when he was put to sleep. Would not hesitate to recommend this surgery

My bearded dragon was well checked over and cared for, however it was a bizzare experience with Rob using expletives during the consultation I did ask him to stop swearing as it was highly inappropriate, especially with my two children stood next to me. Rob told a long story about a friends snake, other owners with note books and the amount of money my son could spend on the bearded dragons viv. All not relevant to the appointment. Before going in to the consultation, another patron had informed me that I "must be horrible" and I am "depriving" my children for not having a dog! I did inform the staff member on the desk of Rob's language use and she was very apologetic on his behalf. The price I paid for the consultation was certainly not worth being insulted or having to listen to such bad language.

We’ve been taking our dog Ziggy to Hoylake Vets for over a year now and have always been really happy with the care and service we’ve received. He has ongoing ear issues and the team have been really helpful in putting a plan in place to manage them. Their additional ear-cleaning support through their pet plan has also been a life saver, for us and also for Zig who is a wriggle monster! The staff are friendly and professional and always take the time to make sure he is well looked after. They’re also very patient with him, which is especially important as he can be quite nervous when visiting the vet. We’re so glad we found Hoylake Vets and would definitely recommend them to other pet owners.

A lovely practice. The vets are fantastic and take the time to listen and explain things clearly, and you really get the impression that they care about both the animals and their owners. When I’ve had to leave my cat there for a procedure, I’ve felt completely reassured knowing he’s in kind, capable hands and will be well looked after.
